PURPOSE:To make it possible to produce inexpensively a device for utilizing efficiently a multiplicity of kinds of thermal transfer sheets by providing a stocking part for storing a plurality of ink sheets individually, at a predetermined position in the device, and taking out a desired one of the ink sheets as required. CONSTITUTION:A sheet stocking part 1 supports individually four ink sheets, namely, a yellow ink sheet 11, a magenta ink sheet 12, a cyan ink sheet 13 and a black ink sheet 14, and is provided at a predetermined position in a device. Each of the ink sheets comprises a sheet stocking roller (e.g., 121) rotatably supported in the sheet stocking part 1, and a sheet take-up roller (e.g. 122) which is detachably fastened to the sheet stocking part 1 and which can be taken out by a sheet-selecting mechanism 5. The sheet-selecting mechanism 5 is movably disposed at an end part of the device, is positioned into a taking-up position for a specified one of the ink sheets in conjunction with a vertical movement of the sheet stocking part 1, and functions to take out the specified ink sheet from the sheet stocking part 1 and then to guide the ink sheet onto a platen 3. |
