PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep seal lip reaction force in an end product within a predetermined standard without requiring any troublesome sampling. SOLUTION: A seal lip 4 of a lower sash is integrally extrusion-molded by putting through an extruder a belt-shaped metal plate 1 bent with a prebender to be in an intermediate cross-sectional form. The metal plate 1 is processed by the first bender 17 into an approximately final cross-sectional form after passing through a vulcanization tank and a cooling tank, and reaction force of the seal lip 4 is measured with a reaction force measure 18. Then the metal plate 1 is further processed into a final cross-sectional form by the second bender 19 with a tightening quantity controlled in accordance with the measured reaction force. Thus, the final cross-sectional form of the metal plate 1 is slightly adjusted, and the seal lip reaction force is always maintained within the standard when the end product is mounted on a glass. |
