The motor stator can be fixed in the housing, while the holder is coupled to the armature, which can be of the vibratory type. Alternatively, it can be driven via an eccentric form a rotary armature. As a further alternative, the holder can be fixed to the stator, while the armature drives an unbalanced weight. The needle (6) can have a hardened steel point.
