PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knock engaging member wherein even in a rear end knock type coating tool not equipped with an engaging structure of a knock body, the knock body maintains its depressed state so that the coating tool can be continuously used and easily refilled with coating liquid. SOLUTION: In the rear end knock type coating tool, a coating body is disposed at the forward end of an axial cylinder, and a valve mechanism is disposed between the coating body and an ink storage part in the cylinder, while a knock body is disposed at the rear end of the cylinder to open the valve mechanism. In the knock engaging member for the coating tool to hold the knock body in its depressed state, a coating tool fixing part is provided at an end of a support, while a knock pressing body of the coating tool is disposed at the other end of the support. |
