PURPOSE: A system, a method and a program for providing a multicast contents service by combining a satellite communication with an earth network are provided to add a satellite reception unit to an existing network of an ISP(Internet Service Provider) company, thereby providing a satellite IP(Internet Protocol) multicast service. CONSTITUTION: An artificial satellite(100) transmits various contents including moving pictures manufactured by a satellite IP multicast application server(300). Plural subscribers receive the sent contents. A network communication network(200) includes a wire and wireless communication networks. Plural subscribers connect by online to the satellite IP multicast application server(300). The satellite IP multicast application server(300) transmits a link page capable of receiving additional information of the moving pictures to a user's terminal(440). A CMTS(Cable Modem Termination System)(430) includes a satellite receiving antenna(410) and a satellite router(420) for receiving various contents transmitted by the artificial satellite(100). A network(400) loads a program for receiving a multicast capable of reproducing and outputting the contents received through the satellite router.
