PURPOSE:To allow the control device for an electric motor vehicle to restart the chopper control of the vehicle by automatically restarting a main circuit contactor of the device when the chopper circuit is normal under the conditions that the vehicle is running at higher than a predetermined speed and that the contactor is opened if the chopper fails in commutation.
