The ski fixing is for cross country use and is fitted between the existing fixings on the ski. It comprises two plastic blocks (1, 2), connected by a threaded rod(3) for longitudinal adjustment. The front block (2) retains the foot holder, this being made from two parallel side strips(4, 5), with perpendicular arms(6, 7) for a spacer(8) and a clip (13) locating the ski boot toe. A similar rear arrangement(10) locates the heel and the bindings. The holder pivots about an axis(9) in the front block and its swinign movement is damped by a coil spring(11) on each side, the force being proportional to the movement.
