The circuit has a diode demodulator and the deflection coils in series with a bridge coil. The junction point of this series connection is connected to a capacitor, whose other terminal is connected to the junction point of two series-coupled diodes. The capacitor other terminal is also connected to a terminal of a coil whose other terminal is linked to a control circuit, tapping a current required for distortion-free raster of the cathode-ray tube. The control circuit periodically switches the coil to earth and to the modulator voltage. Preferably the switching frequency of the control circuit corresponds to the horizontal deflection frequency. Alternately it can be higher.
