Diagnostic aid and control for logic circuits - uses LEDs to differentiate between continuous or pulsed current

The diagnostic aid is for checking signal status in branches of an electronic logic circuit. The aid comprises a unit with an electronic probe which is pressed against the conductor to be monitored. the aid differentiates between a constant level signal in an interrogated branch and a pulsed signal. A bank of light emitting diodes are controlled by the current flow in the interrogated branch. One only of the diodes is energised in steady current conditions while a pair of diodes are energised in pulsed current conditions.
