<p>The gas lighter is used for cigarettes and is completely assembled before being stored to permit valve stabilisation. After this period, the permissible openings for the valve are permanently set, this limiting flame size. A wheel (16) is provided for flame adjustment within these limits and this is surrounded by an outer wheel (17). This latter has striations (15) around its circumference and inward facing teeth (18) on its inner face. Between these teeth are bosses (20), one being punched inwards to lock into recesses (21) in the adjustment wheel, when set. The assembly can then only move between the limits set by stops (22, 23) contacting the teeth.</p> |
