A flexible system is used for producing plan layouts; in particular a layout of furnishings within a room. The complete layout is provided by a transparent plastics sheet folder. The base layer (1) is of a relatively stiff, very smooth, transparent material. The plan (4) is laid directly on this and is of smaller size. - A smooth, flexile transparent foil (6) of PVC is laid over the plan and clings to the base border (1). Cut outs of items (10) e.g. furniture, are located in the required position and the top cover (2) placed in position to secure them for obtaining a photocopy etc.
