An axle(1) transmits the rotative movement of a small hand-held motor to the cleaning pad(2), which, here, is composed of four articulated arms at four points of a ring(3) forming part of the axle(1). The number of arms may vary according to their profile and their resistance to the movement of the motor. A cylindrical tube(4) slides on the bottom part of the axle(1). By sliding it backwards or forwards one closes or opens the four articulated arms. When closing, the four arms penetrate a cleaning pad placed around the rounded end(5) of the pad support axle(1), holding it securely. The pads used can be of any kind already available for pot cleaning.
