Compounds of the formula <IMAGE> and derivatives thereof, in which R1 is hydrogen or methyl, Ar is a phenyl, a substituted phenyl or a thienyl, where the substituted phenyl is substituted by one or two groups selected from fluorine, chlorine, bromine, methyl, methoxy or trifluoromethyl, and X is a CO or CHOH group. The said pyrrole derivatives have an anti-inflammatory activity.
