摘要 1534367 Motor vehicle transmission trains DAIMLER-BENZ AG 29 July 1976 [2 Aug 1975] 31680/76 Heading B7H In a motor vehicle transmission train comprising change-speed gearing, a propeller shaft 14 and an oscillation suppressor 20, the propeller shaft 14 is coupled to the output shaft 10 of the change-speed gearing by a radiallysoft flexible coupling 12, and the oscillation suppressor 20 is mounted on the input end of the propeller shaft 14. The flexible coupling 12 comprises a very soft rubber element 15 to which is connected a star-shaped flange 11 on the output shaft 10 and a star-shaped flange 13 fixed to the propeller shaft 14. A centring sleeve 17 inserted in the flange 13 receives a stub 18 on the output shaft 10 with the interposition of a radially-soft rubber element 19. The oscillation suppressor 20 comprises an annular mass 24 connected to a rim 23 around a triangular plate 22 by a rubber element made up of three sections 26a, 26b, 26c and having near the apices of the triangular plate 22 circumferential slits 27 with rounded ends 28. The natural frequency of the oscillation suppressor is determined by the length of the slits 27 and by the size of holes 30 in the rubber element which also permit the passage of tools for tightening the bolts securing the rubber element 15 to the flange 11. The rubber layers 29 on each side of the slits 27 serve as abutments for limiting radial deflection of the annular mass 24. In another embodiment the oscillation suppressor has two rubber elements and annular masses separated by a gap or slit, the two rubber elements being identical but one annular mass being wider than the other to produce a different frequency value and extend the frequency range of the suppressor.
