A gun and packaging are provided for the extrusion of filling and sealing compsns. into joints of various kinds in buildings, automobiles, etc. These make it possible to fill joints with materials of different colours, without it being necessary to wash out the gun when the colour is changed. The device is esp. used for operative working on a scaffold. The packaging, in the form of a "sausage" filled with a silicone or a butyl rubber, etc., is inserted into the gun, and a hood tapering upwards to a pointed nozzle is pressed over the end of the sausage. A retaining cap with an opening is threaded over the nozzle point and screwed on to the barrel of the gun. The sausage can then be pierced and the material be extruded by manual pressure on the gun trigger. |
