1497003 Electric timing drives LGZ LANDIS & GYR ZUG AG 7 May 1976 [15 May 1975] 18919/76 Heading G3T In a clock or time switch drive comprising a synchronous motor 1 with a shaft 5 carrying a helical spring 6 as a drive worm, the latter engages a pinion 7 on a resiliently mounted connecting shaft 8 and the motor itself is resiliently mounted e.g. by springs 15-17. A worm 8a at the other end of shaft 8 drives a wheel 4 on output shaft 3. The shaft 8 is slidably supported in slots 9, 10 in bearing blocks 11, 12 and biased toward the motor by a spring 13 engaging a collar 14 loose on the shaft. Displacement of the motor is limited by stop 20 formed by a recess 19 in base plate 2. An alternative arrangement is described in which one end of the shaft 8 is restrained by a member attached to the motor 1. |
