<p>The instrument is designed for measuring liquids contained in tanks or reservoirs. It makes use of a suitable relationship between a liquid column measuring and/or reading instrument (1) and a detector-pipe (2) immersed in the liquid which is contained in tanks or reservoirs (3). The reading and/or measurement is made as a function of the hydrostatic equilibrium established between the heights of the liquid columns moving inside the measurement instrument (1) and the detector-pipe (2) in a constant ratio between the two columns. The measurement instrument (1) comprises a capillary pipe (5), with a graduated scale, connected at its lower end to a fluid receiver (6) which, in turn, is linked to a pneumatic compressor (8) and a selection/transmission valve complex (9) which is connected also the detector-pipe (2).</p> |
