<p>Anti-calcareous fertilisers for agriculture and horticulture contain a liquor or solid fertiliser and a sequestering agent for Ca which is citric acid, gluconates, tripolyphosphates, trisodium or tripotassium nitrilotriacetate acid salts, EDTA tetrasodium salts, or diethylene triamine pentaacetic acid pentasodium salt, the pref. prods. being sold under the name Masquol (RTM). The inclusion of the sequestering agent enables water with a high Ca content to be used without danger of sprays, conduits, etc. being blocked by lime deposition.</p> |
