SUPPORT FOR SECURING CULTURES OF FLOATING PLANT SPECIES

The invention relates to a support for securing cultures of floating plant species. The inventive support is designed to be supported by at lest two independent support elements (10). The support comprises a flat reticulate structure (1) which is equipped with: at least one housing (2-3) that is configured to house at least one seed, plant, plant part and/or combinations of same; and at least two elements (5-6) for anchoring to the independent support elements (10), which are configured (i) to compensate for the moments and forces generated by the portion of the plant that projects out above the water level in relation to the point at which said portion intersects with the plane defined by the structure (1), until a growth stage in which the plant can survive and reproduce alone upon proliferation of the roots and/or rhizomes of same, and (ii) to transmit said moments and forces to the independent support elements (10).
