<p>A simple venturi pump is fitted into the engine coolant circuit, or the engine lubricant circuit to provide a vacuum level to activate the vacuum brake servo. The pump operates without any moving parts and therefore without wear. The system dispenses with the unreliable inlet manifold vacuum level, which is considerably reduced when exhaust emission controls are fitted.</p> |
