Seat articulation with simple pivot - allows backrest to tilt to horizontal position and back to seating position by lever or pushbutton

Each articulation comprises a part (4) belonging to the back-rest and another part connected to the articulation by a command pivot (11). The axle of the command pivot (11) has protuberances to carry along a pinion (5) with a reducer (4) which moves a crenelated disc (3). To tilt back the back-rest, one simply pushes a button or releases a lever commanding the movement of the pinion (5), the reducer (4) and the disc (3). The disc (3) has a light at its centre in the shape of a spinal which, when turning in one direction or another, moves a digit which is part of a lever rotating around an axle (8). Another digit (9) commands the pivoting of the back-rest (1) from the normal upright position to a horizontal sleeping position.
