<p>A rotary valve for controlling flow of pulverulent solids has diametrically opposed obturators carried on a rotary support and cooperating with respective valve ports in an internal circumferential surface of a cylindrical valve body, the obturators being movable radially and urged by springs against the internal surface of the valve body so as to make a good seal when the valve is closed, while permitting unobstructed flow of material when the valve is open.</p> |
