<p>The system displays information in two languages of which the characters and the mode of writing (e.g. left to right, and high to low) are different, e.g. English and Arabic. The characters of each language are fed from their respective keyboards (1, 4), via a switch (7) to a principal memory (9). A management unit (19) commands the memory to arrange the stored characters and action the corresponding mode of writing, the information being fed to a corresponding character generator (14, 15) and then to the cathode ray tube (18). A selector switch (22) activates switches (7, 11) and the management unit to determine in which language the information is inputted and displayed.</p> |
