A keypad and a fabrication method thereof are provided to manufacture a plurality of key pads at the same time by using a wave guide, thereby improving production efficiency of the keypad whose the wave guide for guiding light which will be irradiated toward key buttons is inserted into elastic layers. A keypad(210) comprises the followings. A wave guide(220) is formed with key buttons(250) disposed on an upper side thereof, and is equipped with plural reflective patterns(223) on a lower side thereof in order to reflect some of light which progresses to the inside. A lower elastic layer(240) is disposed on a lower side of the wave guide(220). An upper elastic layer(230) is disposed on an upper side of the wave guide(220), as being interposed between the key buttons(250) and the wave guide(220).
