A container for the liquid developer in a copier or duplicator is convenient and clean to remove for recharging or replacement. The developer is contained in a vessel (2) and the developer runs out of a flexible exit tube (7). The cover (5) of the vessel houses two valve controls with handles (6, 9) which double as controls for the valves (8), which allow or stop the flow of developer from the vessel via the tube (7), and as handles for lifting the vessel out of the copier or duplicator.
