Container is emptied by insertion in a housing. The container or ampoule is formed from two sections tightly held together along their rim one of which can be completely inverted into the other to ensure complete emptying. The housing was a device to compress the vessel and an upper section contg. a needle mounting. The flexible container has rigid upper dome with a membrane which is pierced by the needle. It is inserted into the housing with the central flange held by a clamping slot. The emptying mechanism is then manually depressed and the membrane pressed against the needle. The continued pressing then empties the contents of the vessel down the needle, complete emptying being achieved. For use with injection fluids, creams, powders etc. Provides a system for complete emptying of such an ampoule ensuring accurate and reliable metering.
