Subscriber stations (T1, T2, Tx) with different classes of service access levels are connected to a telecommunications switching system with identifiers (R). When a call is made, the respective identification result supplies a class-of-service signal which allows only certain types of calls to be set up. Dialling cannot be performed by special subscriber stations (Tx) with the "dedicated connection" class of service access level. For these stations, the subscriber telephone number of the subscriber station (e.g. T1) which is dialled automatically on loop closure in the special subscriber station (R) is stored in the identifier (R). A special subscriber class-of-service signal obtained simultaneously with the abovementioned subscriber telephone number on identification of a special subscriber station (Tx) effects the transmission of the identified subscriber telephone number to a trunk circuit (L1) located in the connection path which is being set up. <IMAGE>
