PHASE SYNCHRONIZATION TYPE MULTI-PEN RECORDER

PURPOSE:To enable altering of a reference recording pen appropriately by setting a relative positional relationship between a writing position of the newest data and a reading position of a recording data variably in a buffer memory which stores input signals of recording pens sequentially. CONSTITUTION:A capacity of a buffer memory BM is set to a proper value according to a phase difference stop between a reference recording pen and a recording pen desired for a phase correction. The reference recording pen in a phase synchronization mode recording is positioned on the upmost stream in a direction of feeding a recording paper among recording pens under a measurement and recording at present. Such a setting of the reference recording pen can be realized by determining a maximum pen number of the recording pen during a measuring and recording operation in reference to a measuring mode set value provided per recording pen. A processing of such a type is performed when a phase synchronization mode switch is turned ON and the feeding of a recording paper is started with the setting of a phase synchronization mode. Then, a capacity of BM corresponding to each recording pen is changed according to the reference recording pen to vary a writing position and a reading position of a measuring data as well.
