<p>Roller body is for supporting rollers in internal or external bearings, and of steel, for continuous conveyors, etc. It is formed(1) by two deep-drawn hollow steel bodies(2, 3), joined together along a butt- or friction-welded seam. The design is cheap to produce, and the bodies can be produced in succession on the same machine, so that there is virtually no risk of any discrepancy in their diameters due to tool wear. The design can also be used for rollers made of load supporting plastics or reinforced plastic material.</p> |
