Thermoplastic fuel oil tank blow moulding - requiring no bandages with internal partition or cone supports

A storage tank of rectangular cross-section for fuel oil consists of a thermoplastic blow moulding which requires no bandages. It has on its two broad sides several parallel trapezoidal grooves to which they are fused in the blow moulding process. In the centre they contact each other and separate the tank into two compartments. The arrangement saves the considerable loss in useful volume of conventionally bandage-less tanks which have side walls constricted until they tough and fuse together.
