<p>Impact ski weights are used to increase the moment of inertia. To suit the type of track used. They are fitted with the necessary damping strips, special indicator signs and holes for the purposes of shock absorption, organisation and fitting. Suitable handle carriers, special screws, snap on fingers and ski stock shaped carriers are used for the transport of the weights and for their storage ready for use. The weights may be fitted with shock absorbing intermediate layers or strips to permit adjustment of the degree of damping through the tightening of an adjustment screw or similar device.</p> |
