On the inner walls of the safe to be protected are arranged explosive charges. The latter are arranged at positions where it is anticipated attempts at breaking in will be made. Such an explosive charge is initiated in case of applying of heat or explosives externally. The noise caused by these warning explosive charges will generate alarm signals and deter the intruders. Pref. the explosive charges are placed in zones isolated from each other. The protection system can also be extended to the corresponding access doors.
