1534316 Triaxial fabric looms BARBER COLMAN CO 10 Aug 1976 [11 Aug 1975 33197/76 Heading DIE A loom for weaving triaxial fabrics has shouldered, eyed, half healds 21 arranged in banks A, B and A', B', the healds running in two part guides (34a, 34b) and 45 so that they may be both shed and shogged weftwise. In their retracted positions shown in Fig. 2 the healds engage in guides 45 only which are cam-operated to shog the healds weftwise. Whilst they are so shogged shedding means 31 act on the healds to push them out of the shogging guides 45 and into the guides 34a, 34b. Whilst they are so shed the shogging guides return to their initial position so that, on shed change, the healds leave the guides 34a, 34b and enter the guides 45 for the next shogging.
