摘要 A method and an apparatus for achieving maximum yield in the electrolytic preparation of group IV and V hydrides are provided to generate a gas of high purity and to supply a gas producing stream by choosing the concentration of M3OH less than the maximum concentration of M3OH to be the initial concentration of M3OH. A method for achieving maximum yield in the electrolytic preparation of group IV and V hydrides comprises the steps of: determining solubility profile curves of the metal salt when the M3OH is exhausted and the metal oxide is formed by the oxidation reaction at diverse concentrations of M3OH; determining the maximum concentration of M3OH in which the concentration of metal salt deposited from the electrolytic solution is not produced when the M3OH is exhausted; and selecting the concentration of M3OH which is in the range of at and within 5% less than the maximum concentration of M3OH to be the initial concentration of M3OH.
