A contained load transfer device for wood sheathing products is provided to connect wood boards reliably during the construction of a roof with wood boards by increasing load bearing capacity. A contained load transfer device for wood sheathing products is provided for letting a user install a load transfer device in target wood boards easily and connecting an adjacent wood board to the target wood boards easily to keep wood boards in place for a sufficient period of time before attaching the wood boards to a wall or roof frame, and inserted to cavities(12,14) formed on peripheral edges(13,15) of two adjacent wood boards(16,18) to be in contact with the inside of the cavities to make clear the distance between two wood boards and to provide sufficient load bearing capacity for the whole construction which the connected wood boards are used for, wherein the distance between wood boards is sealed up tightly by attaching a tape on top portions(20,22) of the two wood boards and provided for allowing contraction or expansion caused by variations of moisture and temperature.
