<p>1533962 Cutting concrete piles SKANSKA CEMENTGJUTERIET AB 24 March 1977 [5 April 1976] 12425/77 Heading B5E A device for cutting reinforced concrete piles 25 comprises a frame 10 which is intended to be passed on to the pile, cutters 14, 15 journalled on the frame and shiftable towards and away from one another for engaging with and penetrating at least such portions of the pile as contain reinforcing rods 26, and piston-andcylinder assemblies 18 on the frame connected to the cutters for effecting said shifting. The frame consists of two flat rings 10, 11 which are held in spaced apart relationship by bolts 12, each bolt acting as a journal for a pair of cutters 14, 15 having cutting edges 16, 17. The outer ends of the cutters are connected to the piston-and-cylinder assemblies which, when actuated, cause pivoting movement of the cutters so as to cut the concrete pile and the reinforcing rods therein.</p> |
