A specific inclination of the blades of the drive wheel corresponds to a specific position of the gating ring, for a Kaplan (water) turbine. The law governing these two movements (and determining the conjugation curves) is not linear, but defined from the hydraulic behaviour of these two members. The device for adjusting the degree of inclination of the blades comprises a digital electronic memory (12), storing the conjugation curve. An analog/digital converter (A/N) addresses the memory as a function of the value of its input signal (E) representing the instantaneous opening of the gating ring. The value addressed is transmitted to a digital/analog converter (N/A) the output signal from which is intended to adjust the inclination of the blades. A correction circuit (14) makes it possible, during tests at the power station, to act on the value of the output signal, in order to determine the position of the blades giving optimum efficiency for a given position of the gating ring. <IMAGE> |
