<p>The installation is used for the remote control of venetian blinds, these being opened or closed individually or from a central point. Depending on the installation, each blind has its own valve block or a central valve unit may be fitted. Each venetian blind is equipped with a rotary actuator, operated by hydraulic fluid from a central pumping unit. Opening and closing the blinds is carried out by a face cam controlling sliding pins which, in turn, control ball valves. An excess pressure safety valve is fitted, an alarm being used to signal any obstruction to the movement of the slats.</p> |
