<p>Disturbances in the flow of the fluid passing through, and pressure drop in, the circuit, are eliminated in a redesigned filter, esp. for gases, the housing of which is without a flange. The filter cartridge fits on a collar welded to the outlet pipe and is held down by a dished plate. A compression spring fits into a recess in the plate and a recess in the cover which is pulled down on to its seal by nuts on studs welded inside the housing.</p> |
