<p>The arrangement is used to prevent forcible entry into locked containers, such as parking meters or strong boxes. It is applicable to all the clearance and assembly lines of the unit. Each line has a zigzag configuration, the teeth meshing together. The flank of each has a double angle (9, 10), the tip portion being 45 deg. (A, B) to the horizontal and vertical. When a tool is inserted into a clearance gap (12, 13) and pressure applied, the resulting force closes the gap on the opposite side, giving metal to metal contact with no further movement possible. The opposing or bursting forces (F, F') are therefore cancelled out.</p> |
