<p>The jig is for setting angles to allow the simultaneous cutting of mouldings, following the bisector of the required joint angle. A square frame forms a movable parallelogram, adaptable to the angles required. One side is fixed to the moulding and has an angle section (1). The opposite side (4) can be swung as the parallelogram is pivoted at its corners. It can be locked by nuts on the pivots. The pivots each have a slot (5) which can guide one part of a saw blade (S). The other end of the blade presses against the angle section (2) of the opposite side. This gives the correct angle for cutting each moulding.</p> |
