<p>The shock absorber, for e.g. the cabin of an earth working vehicle has a tubular metallic cover (1) fixed to one of the two constructional components. At least a part of its length contains an elastomer cartridge or insert (2) and a metal cutting part (4) which is connected to the other constructional component. The cutting part (4) is fixed to the cover (1) in the vicinity of the end of the insert (2) so that when impact occurs it is driven into the elastomer material, passing through at least a part of the length of the insert.</p> |
