The luggage carrier can be blown up pneumatically to protect the items contained in it. Its outer skin (15) forms a continuous outer wall with an open upper side. Through an inner lining (14) forming a continuous inner wall it is open at its upper side and connected at this point with the outer skin (15). The upper side (21) has access to the inner lining and the outer skin and inner lining allow for a layer of air between them (18, 19). The inner lining and outer skin joined to one another by means of several welded seams (16) in an air tight manner. A number of central air containers (19) communicate with a number of air chambers (18). The carrier is mainly intended for the carrying of small breakable items on voyages, and is especially useful for air travel, because of its light weight.
|
