The carcinoma healing heater appts. gives continuous heating of cancerous tumours to temps. above 40-43 deg. C so as to kill the virus and bacilli. A heater body (A) of adhesive material and containing internal heating wires is fitted over the tumour (B), and supplied by battery or plug from the mains. The tumour is heated sufficiently to kill the virus, bacilli etc. in it and its immediate surroundings. The appts. can also be used on internal tumours. The design avoids the risk of a dangerous operation or cobalt irradiation, and the patient can go about his or her normal activities unhindered. It can be held in place by glue, suction cups or bandages.
