The clip is for connecting two components (4, 6) using a strip of spring material bent into a U-shape. The sides (1) of the 'U' are undulated to improve resilience. The free ends (2) of these sides are bent away from one another for engagement with undercuts of a groove in the first component (6). The sides of the 'U' have stamped out of them straight portions (3) integral with the strip at the bight (9) of the 'U'. The stamped-out portions have ends confronting the bent porrions and prevent separation of a second component from the first component.
