An open ended mounting frame under the front of the car dashboard serves as a plug-in fitting for a rechargeable torch, with automatic connections to the rear of the torch when it is pushed into place. The front of the torch has controls as well as a light. The torch is always in the ready position, fully charged. The front light serves as an interior light, and can be operated from the door switches as a courtesy light. The torch is also fitted with a flasher control as a hazard warning light. |
