The chest of drawers for kitchen and living room furniture consists of individual wooden and/or plastics elements comprising two moulded side parts (2, 2') two strip-like compensating members (3, 3') and a base (4). The side parts and compensating members interlock, and each has a groove (6, 6') to hold the base. The side parts can also have drawer guides (7, 7') or holders for teh guides. The two identical side parts can be economically mass producted in a moulding machine since the side parts are the same for any size of drawer. The width of the drawer depends on the base, the compensating members and the front panel (5) which can then be cut to the desired length. |
