Sealed terminal coupling for heavy current cable - has brass tube with soldered connection to metal terminal

A terminal cap for a heavy current cable is designed to prevent the ingress of moisture. The three core cable (11) is covered is a suitable plastic sheath. A wire coupling is soldered into position and tube is shrunk in position over the joint. Final sealing is provided by a ring of solder (22) between the terminal housing (21) and the brass tube (23).
