<p>The milling cutter has a bush for securing to a drive shaft and individual tools mounted on the bush. By means of screw threads these can be adjusted axially into different positions and there locked. There is a central external screw thread (2) on the bush (1), on which the individual tools (3, 4) bearing against each other and with internal threads, are adjustable in the peripheral direction and lockable. The thread can be of trapezium section, that in the tools being formed in inserts fitted in grooves in them (5), and locked by radially-acting screws (9). Particularly for milling plastic or wooden panels, such as veneered workpieces, plastics coated chipboard etc.</p> |
