<p>1533376 Light-curable diacrylate hydantoin adhesive compositions CIBA-GEIGY AG 29 July 1977 [2 Aug 1976] 31917/77 Heading C3P [Also in Division B5] Ultra-violet light curable adhesives comprise (a) 25-75 parts of a diacrylate (b) 25-75 parts of a diacrylate comprising (1) 80-100 parts and (2) 0-20 parts (c) 0À01-2 parts organosilicon adhesion promoter and (d) 0À01-3 parts light sensitizer, where R 1 and R 2 are H, C 1-8 alkyl, C 5-6 cycloalkyl, phenyl or together form tetramethylene or pentamethylene and R 3 and R 4 are H or methyl. The compositions may also contain other unsaturated comonomers, polymerization inhibitors and free radical polymerization catalysts, and may be used to bond glass to glass, metals or plastics.</p> |
